Trying to figure out how manifesting works can be a little confusing. Do you sit around thinking about what you want and it appears?
Is it as simple as asking and you will receive?
Do you make a quick vision board and all your dreams will come true?
Is it that easy?
The short answer is NO!
Spoiler alert, manifesting is no walk in the park. You will need to look at what’s holding you back and clear your limiting beliefs.
You will need to work on your mindset and actually take action when you go after your dreams!
The good news is that there are steps you can take to manifest your dreams. My favourite process if from the amazing Denise Duffield-Thomas’s Manifesting Course, which I have been using for the last year.
It may take a little time and effort but if you follow the steps you will start to see great results.
The 5 Steps To Manifesting Your Dreams
Declutter Your Life
The first step to manifesting your dreams is to declutter every part of your life. This will clear up your energy so you can get into alignment of what you want to manifest.
You can’t manifest your dreams when you are holding onto the past. You need to clear your physical, physiological and energetic clutter.
Letting go of what no longer serves you is the quickest way to move forward and manifest your dreams.
So how do you clear the crap?
- Declutter your physical space
- Clear your limiting beliefs
What Do You Want To Manifest
You can’t manifest your dreams when you aren’t clear on what you want. How will the universe know what you want if you aren’t clear?!
Therefore you need to get really specific here!
You need to decide what you want in each area of your life and write it down!
Writing down your goals is the fastest way to manifesting them. It’s a fact that the most successful people write their goals down EVERY DAY!
If you’re not sure what you want, you can use the following tools:
- Wheel of life
- Be, Do and Have – what do you want to be, do and have
- Your Ideal Day – write down and visualise what your ideal day would look like
Raise Your Vibration
Like attracts like, so in order to manifest your dreams you need to inject your day with as much positivity as possible! You can’t manifest the life of your dreams if you’re feeling negative about everything.
To start feeling high vibe you can –
- Visualise what you want and really feel like it’s already yours!
- Create a positive morning routine
- Use affirmations or afformations
- Move your body – Yoga or dance
- Create a vision board
- Treat yourself like a VIP!
Do anything that makes you feel amazing and remember this isn’t a one-off thing, doing lots of small things every day will add up to big change!
You wont be able to manifest your dream life if you don’t take action!
However, when we have big goals it can feel overwhelming and stop us from taking action.
My favourite way to deal with this is to write your goals down and break it into smaller steps. What small step could you take to get to where you want to be?
Even if you can only think of the next step, do it, you will soon feel inspired to keep going!
Be Open To Receive
The final step is being open to receive. It can feel really frustrating when it doesn’t feel like anything is happening.
So what can you do?
The best way to overcome this is to act “As If”
So think about your goal and imagine that you have already achieved it. How would you feel? What would be different? Would you act differently?
Think about this and start to act the way you would if you already had your dream life. Say if you would dress differently, then do it, you don’t need to wait until you have manifested your goals to be this person.
And when you have achieved your goals, celebrate!
So often we just move on to the next goal without celebrating what we have already achieved. If you feel truly grateful that you manifested something amazing into your life, you will attract more!
If you start to feel frustrated that you’re not manifesting what you want, just go back to step 1!
