  4. Reframe negative thoughts: Replace negative thoughts with positive or neutral statements. For example, instead of saying “I can’t do this,” try saying “I’m doing my best and learning as I go.”
  5. Practice gratitude: Focusing on what you’re thankful for can help shift your focus away from negative thoughts. When you focus on what your are grateful for, this will trigger your reticular activating system in your mind. This means you will start to look for even more things to be grateful for.
  6. Surround yourself with positive people: Seek out positive and supportive people who can help you reframe negative thoughts and offer encouragement.
  7. Engage in self-care: Taking care of yourself, such as exercise, yoga, getting enough sleep, eating well, and engaging in hobbies, can improve your mental and emotional health and help reduce negative mindset.
